Dr Stephen Purss

General Practitioner - MBBS (Hons Class II Div II), DRACOG, FRACGP

Dr Stephen Purss has been proudly serving the Port Macquarie community and surrounding areas for many years as a dedicated General Practitioner. In 2025, Dr Purss joined Valiant Health, aligning with the organisation’s commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare to all members of the community.

Dr Purss has a broad interest across all areas of General Practice, with particular expertise in acute care, chronic disease, skin and minor procedures. He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care.

Dr Stephen Sitther

General Practitioner - RACGP MBBS

Dr. Stephen J Sitther is a highly experienced medical practitioner with 19 years of experience in primary and hospital-based health settings.

With a strong focus on integrative and preventive medicine, he has demonstrated expertise in managing a wide range of general medicine cases.

Dr Dewandra (Raj) Saurty

General Practitioner - MBBS | MRCPI | FRACGP

Dr Raj is originally from Mauritius and speaks both English and French.

In 1999 he moved to Australia and worked in the area of Chest Medicine at Westmead NSW for 5 years, before moving into General Practice Men and Women’s health, Travel Medicine, Mental Health, Chronic disease management and aged care.

Linda Chapman

Practice Manager

Linda brings a wealth of experience to her role as Practice Manager. Beginning her journey as a Medical Receptionist, later becoming a Registered Nurse, then a Practice, Business and Operations Manager, Consultant and a Surveyor for General Practice Accreditation along the way Linda has also gained formal qualifications in Health Science, Business Management and Training and Assessment. Linda is passionate and committed to thinking beyond traditional healthcare models to break down the barriers to delivering affordable, accessible, high-quality, patient centred Primary Health Care Services.

Luanie Vermeulen

Registered Nurse

Luanie has over 17 years of diverse experience across emergency nursing, primary health care, education, aged care, haemodialysis, and rural and remote nursing. Luanie is passionate about preventative health and strongly advocates for patient empowerment and education. Working with Valiant Health, Luanie is excited to help shift the focus toward proactive rather than reactive healthcare within the community.
